Are you a qualified History teacher that's looking for a fresh and exciting new challenge to start the academic year?

Due to a resignation a vacancy has arisen for a committed and creative teacher to join a team of 2 fellow historians in a large Humanities faculty if this specialist Technology College.
You will be responsible for teaching Key Stage 3 to 5 which will include mixed ability sets in year 7-9 and streamed classes for GCSE and A level. The school has a good results at all Key Stages with 80% of students achieving 5 or more A-C 's last year and 77% achieving A-C in History itself. The 6th form is "particularly effective" (OFSTED 2007) with over 250 on the roll and History being a popular subject. Although this is a central London school it has very low levels of EAL and SEN.
As a specialist Technology College the school is extremely well equipped and the Humanities faculty has interactive whiteboards in each class and 3 purpose built ICT suits to assist you in delivering creative and interactive lessons that will ensure all students maximise their learning.
