Join a small team in large office to work on a hotel or a Victorian modernization into a commercial office scheme. Solid work and quirky opportunity
COMPANY INFORMATION:
Well established office with a low turnover of staff.
Good name large practice, medium projects,
Office is commercial mainly, with major office, retail and transportation that reflect key aspirations, also some residential, leisure and urban and airports
Quite a social atmosphere with softball and monthly drinks and they don't encourage people working late as a rule
ROLE:
You will join a small team and work on either a small hotel project at planning, or a commercial office scheme that is combining Victoria features with a modern design, by being façade elements and internal features, whilst opening up the space.
There are also options on the international schemes, so once a meeting has occurred, you may prefer this alternative sector.
Stage D or E development will be likely and so a mix of final design developments and technical skills will be sought after in this friendly office where contractors are made very welcome. Projects range in scale from several million to large scale and range in style.
 To secure the role you need:
 Capable of plans, sections and elevations of various of office/commercial schemes to a detailed scale
 Proficiency in AutoCAD
 Experience in larger scale projects – required in portfolio
 Commercial office schemes experience would be sought after ideally
 Stage E prior experience would be of benefit so you can jump in without training
 Complex working drawings experience
 Some sketching in your portfolio to show real construction awareness
 Detailing skills – if so send images with application
A solid contract is being offered at the moment on a scheme that will run for over 1 year if you would like more stability with flexibility in a relaxed atmosphere in a great location.
