Quantity Surveyor Job in London
This company started as a local Building Contractor over 30 years ago and are now a successful and competitive Main Contractor in the local Sussex market. They pride themselves on staff retention, quality of work and doing everything they can to make sure the staff they employ find their work both satisfying and rewarding. Something they do extremely well, now having over 35 trades and commercial employees working for them direct.
The type of projects they're involved in range from huge private Country Estates, Churches, Grade Listed Buildings, Commercial Developments and insurance works. The work ranges from new build, extension and refurbishment. Weather this be internally or externally they are always finished to the highest standard. These projects are valued from GBP2,000-GBP2million and they normally run 2 to 3 larger projects and 3 to 4 smaller projects at any one time. A lot of work is generated from local architects, surveyors and recommendation with most work been negotiated due to having an excellent name in the local market.
Skills:
A proven track record within an established Contractor, also showing good career continuity.
Understanding of general building from groundwork's to final handover.
Formal QS training or time served experience.
Experience of similar projects and project value.
