Logo Design Gbp250 Job in London
Design a cool logo for Monkeyframes, producer of new photographic display products. Logo to be used on our website, documentation and all of our products.
Compensation:
1st prize: GBP250
2nd prize: GBP125
3rd prize: GBP50
4th to 10th prize: Monkeyframes gifts worth GBP25
Guidelines:
The logo does not need to be complicated or graphically elaborate. Take into consideration that the logo will mostly be used in three-tone colour, greyscale and black and white, but don't concern yourselves with these graphic modifications. The name monkeyframes or the URL monkeyframes.com may be part of the logo but are not required. Slogans may not be included. The logo can portray (or portray certain aspects of) a monkey (or monkeys) or to our photo framing products, but this is not essential.
Inspiration:
We are a young and modern business. We like SIMPLE. We like stencils. We like Banksy. We like random. We like comic. We like punk. We dislike traditional. We are open to all and any of your ideas. Our target demographic is 20 to 35 year olds.
Entry Deadline:
The deadline for entries is 01 August 2008. Each participant may submit as many entries as they like. If submissions received prior to the deadline are found to be unsatisfactory, we reserve the right to extend the submission deadline. The contest will be decided within one month of the submission deadline and the winners will be contacted.
Submissions:
Your submissions should be emailed to: design at monkeyframes dot com as a JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG or you can ZIP 'em. Please do not send any other file format. We will confirm receipt of your submission. If we do not, please contact us and let us know. We promise not to rip you off!
Rules and Conditions:
- The logo must not violate the rights of a third party. This means that it can't be stolen / ripped-off / or heavily inspired but must be original.
- The 1st and 2nd prize winners must relinquish all author and copyrights to their submitted logos. This means that we mau use and modify the logo as we wish. All other participants and winners retain the rights to their submissions which we promise not to use in any way.
- The jury will not communicate with participants with regard to uncuccessful submissions. We will also be unable to provide insight into the decision process of the jury.
- It may be the case that two or more submissions are quite similar. In this coincidental situation, we reserve the right to decide which submission is to be awarded the prize. Since all submissions will only be available to the jury until the competition has ended, you needn't worry that someone will copy or modify your design.
- The prizes are fixed in GBP GPB and will be awarded in the currency of your choice at the exchange rate at the time of payment.
- We will not rip you off!
