Introduction to Sports Alliance
Sports Alliance is a marketing partner that transforms the way that clubs and other organisations manage their customer relationships. We integrate expertise and acumen from marketing, technology and IT systems services, and media consultancy. We have been operating for seven years, have 12 employees and are based in Soho, London. We work with a variety of UK professional sports clubs, including Arsenal FC, Aston Villa FC, Celtic FC, as well as Entertainment and Not for Profit (Fundraising) organisations.
Data Analyst Role & Responsibilities
+ Data management, including correlating data from disparate databases, and producing management information reports
+ Building and maintaining dynamic web portals with relational databases for delivery of reporting information
+ Maintain/improve process features of Sports Alliance's installed products and service offerings
+ Statistical analysis and modeling of data
+ Computer Network Design, e.g. Routing and Remote Access
You will work closely alongside a Data Manager, and other members of the Sports Alliance team. You will demonstrate a high degree of independence, responsibility and professionalism, and be fluent in written and spoken English. The appointment will be full-time and begin immediately.
Skills & Experience
We are looking for a recent graduate with a strong mathematical or computer science background. The candidate will be numerate with a flexible and structured approach to complexity and comfortable with the use of relevant software, computer languages and IT systems as below:
+ Microsoft Development and Web technologies – Visual Studio, .NET ASP, HTML, CSS, XML
+ Middleware: BizTalk Server 2004/06
+ Database Management Systems: SQL 2000/05, Microsoft Access, MySQL
+ Statistical analysis: SPSS, Excel
+ Knowledge of Networks including TCP, HTTP, LAN, WLAN, MAC, IP
Experience in .NET ASP development, BizTalk, Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
