Data Center Engineering Manager

Our Client is an expert provider of M&E Maintenance in technically demanding and critical facilities.

They have specified the need for an Engineering Service Manager to manage the maintenance of a neutral data centre in East London.

Even though this is a management role, candidates will have excellent working knowledge of UPS systems, High Voltage, Chilled and Condenser water systems, Chillers and Cooling, Generators, BMS, power and lighting and all Critical HVAC services and systems within this Data Centre environment.

Management duties will include: budget management, direct report and sub contractor management, project management, PPM management, providing technical support to the engineering team and building an excellent working relationship with the Client.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a technically demanding site and comes with an excellent package.

Benefits include: basic £43,200, bonus £4800 (if targets are 100% achieved),
car approx £4,500, call out £3525 ( £100/wk 1st on call, £50 /wk 2nd on call throughout the year), compulsory O/T £2300 ( 7 Sundays per year for functional test attendances). As such, the overall monetary package equates up to potentially 58k.
