Section Engineer

Salary and Location
£30,000 ? £34,000 + car or allowance + benefits. Based East London.

Role Description
The Civil Section Engineer will be working on civil projects with a rail bias including;
- Piling
- Reinforced concrete
- Tunneling
- Drainage
- Earthworks
- Bridges

The Civil Section Engineer will be responsible for a team of engineers and sub contractors then reporting directly in to the Project Manager. Other responsibilities include maintaining health and safety standards, preparation of relevant site paper work and overseeing quality control for the site engineers work. The Civil Section Engineer must have excellent communication skills, as the position will include liaising with senior management and the client.

Required Experience
HNC or HND in Civil Engineering is preferable but not essential. Experience in piling and reinforced concrete works is very favourable but any sector from a heavy civil engineering background would be considered.
