Qualified project accountant for media giant competitive dai

Our client is well known Media Giant based in London, who are initially looking for someone for a three month contract, the role plays a key position within this small dynamic finance team and therefore you will be responsible for preparation of timely, accurate financial and management accounts within the Company and reporting to a Group in regards to adhoc finanical information, monthly accounts, forecasts, budgets, tax information and Capex schedules to tight deadlines.
Duties include:
Preparation of monthly financial accounts
Preparation of monthly reporting packs to the Group
Liaison with Managers in regards to their monthly management accounts
Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and follow-up
Tranfer of data between systems
Preparation of Board Reports
Preparation of VAT returns
Assist with forecasting
Preparation of half-yearly accounts
Assist with the preparation of Annual Statutory Accounts
The contractor needs to have the ability to learn processes and new systems quickly. You will need to have sound financial accounting and management accounting skills.
Ideally you will need to be an enthusiastic person with a 'can do' attitude and be used to working to high standards.
