Estimator

ESTIMATOR REQUIRED IN TRURO
My client a family run building company based in Truro is seeking an Estimator to join their team.
My client has a well established team and will consider less experienced estimators as well as more experienced candidates and will shuffle the workload accordingly!
The successful candidate will be required to contribute to the Win Strategy in order to identify suitable opportunities to bid, then to develop the Strategy and lead the bid team in the preparation and submission of responses to secure profitable contracts which add value to the company income stream.
Understands from specs and drawings how a project is to be carried out
Able to suggest technical solutions where no spec exists
Good communication skills and ability to negotiate with suppliers and PQS / Client's representatives
Able to compile a quantified schedule of works from specs and drawings
Able to produce cost models based on limited criteria
Able to produce a schedule of enquiry to suppliers ensuring that requirements are clearly communicated
