Head of trade and corporates

Description


We are looking for a highly experienced leader-manager to head this dynamic team and play a key role in running the whole Policy & Campaigns Department. In this high profile role, you will:

Shape campaign and lobbying strategies on our corporate accountability and trade work
Manage a high-achieving and talented team
Lead our policy advocacy work for pro-poor growth
Be a public spokesperson for ActionAid

Qualification


To succeed in this post, you will need to be a committed and experienced advocate for social justice, fair trade and corporate accountability. You will also have experience of developing, delivering and managing campaigns in the UK and posses strong political judgement. You will need to have extensive knowledge of trade, corporate accountability and particularly how they impact on women rights; and be familiar with key actors, debates and networks in these areas. And you will be able to talk about it at all levels with passion and integrity. Job Reference: 0805-04
