Salary circa GBP23,000 - 25,000 gross per annum plus excellent benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious ACCOUNTS SUPERVISOR to assist in leading the Accounts team at CITY INN Westminster, part of the award winning CITY INN Contemporary Hotels.
The flagship CITY INN Westminster occupies a prime site in the heart of Westminster minutes from the Tate Britain and Houses Parliament. In addition to 460 contemporary guest rooms, suites and the fantastic Sky Lounge, the award winning CITY INN Westminster boasts a successful meetings and events operation, fantastic cocktail bar Millbank Lounge and the outstanding, critically acclaimed destination restaurant CITY CAFé.
As ACCOUNTS SUPERVISOR, you will assist the Financial Controller in delivering revenue forecasts and monitoring management and control accounts to ensure highly effective finance function. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will have responsibility for payroll processing on a 2 and 4 weekly basis, offering an excellent opportunity to take on a hands-on role within the Accounts team.
You will be an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills and will be fully conversant with all standard PC packages, including a strong working knowledge of Excel. An excellent team player, previous experience of supervising a team would be beneficial for this role, although this is not essential. Working knowledge of Fidelio Opera and computerised finance systems would be highly desirable as would previous payroll experience, or an understanding of the payroll process.
With this in mind, you will have proven background and experience in Accounts at a similar level or be ready to take the next step in your Finance career. Ideally you will be working towards working towards CIMA, ACCA or equivalent and looking for a role to allow you operational and practical experience to support your studies.
