Financial analyst

We are currently looking for a financial analyst for our client which is a sport/leisure business. The role is an interim role which could potentially become a permanent position for the right candidate. The role is based on a salary of 30-35K.
Overall Purpose:
To support the business in the development and provision of commercial analysis and decision support reporting.
To develop and communicate understanding of the dynamics of the business adding value to the reporting of results and Forecast and Budget processes.
Principle Accountabilities:
1.Production and reporting of the weekly and periodic management reports.
2.To report on and analyse the company's performance on a periodic basis.
3.To provide answers to board and management questions in relation to performance and profitability.
4.Develop and improve the company's reporting, reconciling tools and methods.
5.To produce and validate quarterly forecasts.
6.To assist the Commercial Analysis Manager in all aspects of profit and performance reporting including the shop book and KPI development.
7.To build upon and strengthen existing relationships between Finance and Operational Management.
8.To develop existing and new processes to meet business needs
9.To contribute to, support and assist the Commercial Analysis Team in delivering the team objectives.
10.Continuously review, recommend and implement changes to the format and presentation of management information across the companies.
We are looking for a candidate with
Finance Reporting Background
Experience of FMCG or Retail Industry
Good Knowledge of model building in Excel working with large volumes of data
