Bookkeeper accountant
Small corporate service provider based in Central London has a vacancy for a part qualified or fully qualified Bookkeeper/Accountant.
Duties will include:
* Daily bank reconciliation on MYOB
* Managing the purchase ledger – posting invoices, processing payments to suppliers, cheques and international payments
* Managing the sales ledger – posting invoices, raising credit notes, chasing payments when due, banking cheques
* Maintenance and upkeep of MYOB File for cash flow forecasts
* Preparation and filing of VAT returns from MYOB accounting system
* Managing petty cash, expenses claims
* Financial Control, chasing debtors and setting budgets
To succeed in this role you will need to have:
* Willingness to take on our accounting work fast and a "can do" attitude!
* A minimum of two years experience in accounts
* Results and performance orientated person with a keen ability to work on own initiative and with no supervision
* Willingness and keen interest to help out in the non-accounts related work
* Experience on MYOB is preferred.
You must be hard working, enthusiastic and aware of your work environment. The successful Candidate will have good knowledge of computers, have worked with MYOB (or similar), Excel, Word and Outlook. Good organisation and prioritisation skills essential. The role is demanding and the environment fast-paced. A calm and methodical approach is essential. Initiative, motivation and common sense will mean a fuller involvement in an exciting and dynamic company.
The role is to start immediately. Interviews are currently being held this week for an immediate start.
