Office manager

Squint / Opera Limited, is a young, creative design and production company.
The company requires a person to take charge of the day to day running of the office, as well as assisting the marketing and finance functions.
The position would suit a very organized, friendly, computer literate and proactive individual and someone who would like to join a small ambitious hard working team who do interesting things.
Previous office or reception experience required.
Location : Battersea, London SW11.
Job Description
Overall : Managing the day to day running of the office, as well as supporting the marketing and finance functions.
Office:
Answering the phone, taking messages
Diary Management
Meetings – schedules, minute taking and action plans
Supervising staff training schedules
Organising staff jollies
Organising charitable squint activities
Travel arrangements
Arranging couriers
Ordering stationery & general supplies within budgets
Greeting clients on arrival in the office
Post – sorting & mailing
Responsible for office Health and Safety procedure
Marketing/Business development assistance:
Entering awards and festivals
Finding grants schemes
Checking FT for possible new business
Updating the blog
Finance assistance:
Control of petty cash
Other duties:
Assisting the various project teams with any ad hoc queries:
Booking camera equipment
Booking locations
Salary GBP18,000 per annum
25 days holiday per annum
