Credit derivatives product control associate director direct

Our client is a prestigious and well-known Tier 1 global investment bank, with a strong presence in the world's major financial centers. They are presently looking to identify high caliber candidates at the Associate Director Level or Director level to pioneer the set up of a credit derivatives product control team to meet the increased needs of the expanding credit /credit derivative business in the Asia Pac region.
These will be important priorities for the Bank for the next two quarters as they roll out their expansion plans in product control in credit derivatives, in tandem with planned expansion / consolidation of the credit business in the Asia Pacific Region.
The scope of the team includes:
- Preparation of the daily Profit & Loss reports including reconciliation, analytical review and providing commentary for P&L; movements
- Production and review of weekly independent price testing processes.
- Balance sheet substantiation and control
As a pioneering senior hire responsible for building and growing the team (to a size of 6-8 in the short to mid term), you will also conceptualize and lead all key initiatives relating to system/ workflow enhancements, accounting changes and centralization of processes within Product Control. You are also expected to play a strategic role in defining the team's value add to the business as the scope of the credit derivatives product control team continues to evolve.

You should be accounting-qualified with at least 8 years of experience in Product Control with an investment bank in credit and credit derivatives preferred. You should also be an ambitious and driven individual, who is highly adept at managing priorities in a fast-paced environment and be able to work well in a global and cosmopolitan team, with strong ambitions of developing an international career.
