Scanner operator

Rapidly growing company based in Barbican is looking for Scanner Operators for High Volume Scanning equipment. Operators must follow established scanning and quality control procedures in producing digital files in a specified format for further processing.
The role will involve:
- Scanning documents
- Converting electronic documents to PDF
- Processing PDF documents
- Creating OCR text files
- Uploading and managing electronic documents to a proprietary web-based system
- Investigating and answering client queries
- Routine maintenance on equipment
- Maintaining production logs
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Very good knowledge and understanding of Windows environment
- Understanding OCR
- Adobe Acrobat skills
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor in computer science
- VB or C language skills
- Previous experience in scanning bureaus
Please note that this is an on-call position.
