Russian speaking research analyst

Position: Russian speaking Research Analyst
PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a market research position, this position demands SOUND analytical and EXCEL skills. Please do not apply unless you possess these skills.
1. About Slando
* We are a fast-growing start up based in London and backed by a global internet player based in Silicon Valley, California
* We specialize in internet classifieds and focus on emerging internet markets, predominantly in Eastern, Central and Southern Europe
2. What is the job about?
You will become the "analytical centre" of Slando, the key reference point for all internal and external data and analysis requests.
You will work closely with company management, researching customer behaviours and supporting journalists and PR people with interesting facts and findings.
3. Is it the right job for you?
This is a rewarding role for you if:
* You have the gift of being good with numbers, spreadsheets & databases
* You can present your findings clearly in a maximum of 5 phrases
* You know the basics of marketing research tools, such as surveys
* You want to learn online marketing, PR and commercial sides of growing an internet business and possibly further progress in any of the above fields.
* You can speak & write Russian to a native level

4.1. Core Responsibilities
* Provide the company management with relevant analytics and statistics regarding website performance, growth and results of marketing campaigns.
* Create analytical reports and online surveys to be used in company's PR activities
4.2. Person Specification
Experience, Qualifications & Personal Characteristics required:
* Good data analysis skills
* Excellent knowledge of Excel & extracting data from databases
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Enthusiasm for online marketing and research
* Understanding of basic principles of internet
* Good team player who can work with people of all levels / backgrounds
* Energised by unstructured, start-up environment
* Keen to learn and develop within a fast-growing company
* Good English
* Fluent Russian language
* Ability to work 40 hours a week
4.3. Compensation
* Salary of GBP18,000 to GBP22,000 per annum depending on the experience & skills
