Marketing executive
Montgomery International is seeking a highly motivated, creative and team-oriented Marketing Executive for the Montgomery portfolio of international trade shows.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious marketing graduate, who has the ability to create and implement exhibitor and visitor marketing campaigns. The right candidate will be willing to manage projects from start to finish, and have experience in a variety of marketing disciplines.
The main focus of this role is working on international B2B shows, in India, Russia, Hungary and Poland. The events are organised in partnership with local companies and close liaison is paramount. Occasional travel is likely.
Particular emphasis in the marketing mix is placed on maintaining and promoting clear branding definitions and developing the successful implementation of international & local marcomms with the emphasis focused on growing visitors' attendance and exhibitor participation.

Background:
* Degree or relevant professional qualification
* Work experience in marketing and communications, if gained in an events-based environment, it would be an advantage

Key Tasks:
* In association with the local show marketing team, develop and execute the tactical event marketing plans including advertising, direct mail, email, online and PR campaigns.
* To liaise with internal and external agencies, e.g. PR, designers, printers and registration bureau to ensure promotional pieces are delivered on time and within budget.
* To assist with market research projects, including monitoring of competitor activity and developing knowledge of individual markets, trade press, industry news etc.
* To work closely with other members of the team, in particular sales, to ensure the relevance and timely delivery of all marketing activity.
* Assist in the negotiation and management of effective contra agreements
* Willingness to undertake general marketing administration
* Any other duties required from time to time
