Assistant architect/architect for UK retail and huge international scheme

The Role:
This client has UK based retail developments that require assistance to re-design huge complexes that have aged and a project in Abu Dhabi that is requiring technical input and final design development to allow tender documents to be produced. Large retail development with various other buildings such as luxury residential as additions. You will have a design flair, eye for detail and good technical awareness to join an existing team of varied office experience. There is scope for a longer term role, scope to become a more senior member of the office and some travel opportunities to the sites overseas. You will start with more technical work and then this will lead to more design involvement once this tender is complete. This project also allows a high chance of site visits and a potential to move overseas
Great chance to have the project involvement and challenge a smaller office offers, as they are almost 20 strong, whilst working on projects of a scale only larger office tend to do.
What you need:
 You will need flexibility, technical awareness and design passion
 Experience and technical ability to complete tender documents.
 Presentation and 3d skills would be utilized for UK scheme
 AutoCAD confident you will use a mixture of design and computer skills
 Large-scale project experience would be required

They have a large range of projects from retail to office and leisure. The office is approx 15 strong with a varied and
social team with Friday drinks and a healthy culture as lots of people cycle to work and the location offers good walks
by the river.
Projects have included:
Czech Republic Olympics work, Abu Dhabi shopping and retail, new designs and refurbishments of UK shopping centres and office refurbishments
They have also just opened a new office overseas due to European project success.
