By building on their long experience in the educational sector they are now recognised as a leading practitioner in the design of PFI schools, with many exciting projects on site and under development throughout the UK. Other areas they design in include government, healthcare and community projects.
Role:
You will join one of the few practices who are very busy at present as this client specialize in educational schemes. They have several new schemes about to commence, combined with current educational schemes.
You will be able to join a project that compliments your skills as they have several options.
Workload is huge and so no worries about the role terminating unlike the market in general.
Senior posts with good responsibility and variety
Person:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
* RIBA III/ARB/equivalent
* AutoCAD experience will be required
* Real design and practical construction flair
* Educational projects exposure would be needed
* Experienced in progressing designs to planning application and beyond
* Experience of larger scale developments required
* Ability to meet strict deadlines
* A pro-active and focused attitude
* Technical snagging and Detailing skills
* Working drawings knowledge, ability to create and amend
* UK Building regulations knowledge will be required
* Natural ability to understand how a building goes together
* Leadership skills for team
