Are you a qualified and experienced Geography HOD who's interested in spearheading the growth of an already successful faculty in a specialist training school in Kingsbury, North West London?
This is an outstanding opportunity to lead a dynamic and progressive team in a faculty that achieved a 70% A-C pass rate at GCSE last year and 60% of pupils achieved level 7/8 in their SATS. Geography is a popular choice at A level with strong results predicted at AS and A2 for this year. You must be an individual of the highest calibre who has the highest standards and expectations of themselves and their faculty. This post will give you the opportunity to influence the curriculum and pastoral aspects of the faculty and could potentially lead to a more whole school role in the next few years for the right candidate.
The school is looking to appoint a professional with a strong academic background and commitment to excellence in the teaching of Geography across all Key Stages. You must have strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate those around you whilst also managing upwards and reporting effectively to the SMT.
