Practice with approx 70 staff, well established in their field is split into 3 separate practices
Hotels, Interior Design, Luxury Interiors, Mosques, Islamic architecture etc.
Quality designs with bespoke and sometimes elaborate schemes
The role:
 Based in office of 15 staff next to their larger office of 50
 You will ideally have your own laptop due to lack of available PCs initially
 You will also have AutoCAD and possibly 3D studio max software on the laptop
 This client has amazingly intricate schemes varying in stage development. One has just had the presentation drawings approved. As a result, they are now moving onto more detailed technical drawings. However you will be making the drawings in 3 dimensions. This will allow full comprehension of the design and how to build it and so will be more interesting than typical 2D technical drawings
 3D construction drawings for this scheme combined with great competition style drawings for earlier schemes
 Amazing chance to do all those 3D tasks you never have the opportunity to do. And projects in the Middle East including elaborate mosques
To secure the role you need:
 Solid AutoCAD skills – 2D and 3D essential
 You will be tested on 3D skills so only apply if you are confident in 3D as it is a complex project
 Technical comprehension is also required as you will be working on post-presentation drawings
 Experience in hotels/luxury interiors/commercial schemes would be of benefit
 AutoCAD 1- Development of real size scale 3D models of design details, using 2D plans and sketches
 AutoCAD 2- Good management of the modeling process
 3D studio max – understanding of lights and rendering techniques will be useful for other tasks
