This excellent selective school is looking to employ a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Geography to join a dynamic and committed department with flourishing A Level groups in both physical and human geography. The ability to teach geography to A Level would be an advantage but not essential.
This is an excellent opportunity to teach well-motivated pupils in an oversubscribed mixed selective school of 1471 with a sixth form of 414.
The school offers a full professional development programme for all members of staff with further support for staff new to the teaching profession. Additionally any successful newly qualified teacher will be invited to join the school in July 2008 and would subsequently benefit from being paid for the summer holiday period.
