The Company
A small firm of health clubs with 4 sites nationwide with an excellent reputation, our Client is a professional and personal company with a high level of customer service.
The Role
Based in Henley on Thames, we are now seeking a Fitness Manager to run a small site on college premises. Open to employees and members alike, you will the senior member of staff within the facility. You will be expected to be part of the weekly rota and carry out inductions and programmes as well as organise the rota, payroll and assume overall responsibility of the small facility.You would also be involved with selling the facility to increase membership and managing 2 to 3 staff. There would be potential to personal train too. The Fitness Manager would report into the Operations Director of the company weekly.
The Person
This is a good opportunity to break into management as well as still having a hand in on the gym floor. Candidates for this Fitness Manager role must be REPs level 2 qualified and REPs level 3 to personal train. Fitness Manager Candidates must have had a good innings on the gym floor and ideally some supervisory experience. This role is more about managing and leading by example, then personal training. Any sales experience would be a bonus as commission can be earned here
The Benefits
GBP15,500 basic salary, plus commission from sales and personal training. Candidates must be able to drive or re-locate. This role is not commutable from London
