Access Control Engineers Job

AB Key LLP is a fast growing security firm based in Canada water, London SE8 5 HZ.

We are a young, fun and vibrant company with more work than it can currently handle,
And are therefore we are seeking experienced engineers for work spanning Access Control, CCTV, Entryphone installation and servicing.

Starting salary is up to 20-30 K depending on experience.

The hours you would be required are Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm.
With shared OOH and Emergency Call outs

Duties include: Access control

• Attending sites across London, including navigating and communicating with customers.
• Carrying out surveys, investigations, repairs, installations, commissioning and designing.
• On Access control systems including Paxton, Pac, HiD, Cotag, Bewator - Siemens, Asec, Act, Salto.
• Using keypads, proximity readers, electric locks , call points.
• Having a knowledge of schematics and diagrams.
• Taking responsibility for Company vehicle, phone and stock.
• Attending training and courses as and when required.

Duties include: Door Entry

• Attending sites across London, including navigating and communicating with customers.
• Carrying out surveys, investigations, repairs, installations, commissioning and designing.
• On Access control systems including Telguard, Comelit, Videx, Fermax, BPT, London Entryphone, Bell systems.
• Using keypads, audio modules, monitors /handsets, wiring.
• Having a knowledge of schematics and diagrams.
• Taking responsibility for Company vehicle, phone and stock.
• Attending training and courses as and when required.

Duties include: CCTV

• Attending sites across London, including navigating and communicating with customers.
• Carrying out surveys, investigations, repairs, installations, commissioning and designing.
• On Access control systems including Hikvision, Samsung, Axis, Sony, Vista.
• Using Cameras monitors DVRs, NVRs, switchs.
• Having a knowledge of schematics and diagrams.
• Taking responsibility for Company vehicle, phone and stock.
• Attending training and courses as and when required.

The successful person will:
• Be fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Be extremely well organized
• Be a self starter, able to take initiative and work alone.
• Have a patient and friendly manner work well with the rest of the team and as an individual.

The interview process will be as follows:
• Telephone interview followed by
• Face-to-face interviews and reference checks.

Successful candidates are required to live within London - ideally no more than 10 miles from SE16 and must have a full, clean, driving license.

Salary will be competitive and dependent on experience.
