ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced and confident Account Director to join our leadership team to deliver strategic input to the growth of the agency alongside heading up a few of our key accounts. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will work alongside a cross disciplinary team across the agency and be responsible for leading one of the agencies largest accounts. A key focus of this role will also include leading the evolution and promotion of our own CRM platform to our existing and prospective clients. As a member of the senior management team you will also make a contribution to the development of the agency in areas of design, technology innovation, agency strategy and digital marketing services. Key to this role will be striving to maintain and improve the agency’s quality of digital marketing services to the premium restaurant and casual dining venue sectors.
THE CANDIDATE
• The chosen candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience working in a hospitality business focused on the premium / high end market.
• They will have worked in either of the following for at least 2 years:
o an in-house capacity at a high end hospitality group in a senior marketing role
o an agency environment at Senior Account Manager level for at least 3 years of this time working with the high end hospitality sector.
• This person will possess experience in:
o extensive project management experience of launching websites, mobile applications and omni-channel campaigns for multi venue premium hospitality groups.
o marketing for the restaurant sector to the type A demographic.
o experience managing a team of at least 6 direct reports.
 project management and deployment of website, mobile application and digital marketing projects.
• They will carry an understanding of:
 search engine optimisation (SEO)
 paid search engine marketing (SEM)
 customer relationship management (CRM) strategy and systems
 content management systems (CMS)
• They will also possess an education of Bachelor’s degree level or above in a marketing and / or business related discipline.
IN FOCUS
Account Director – High Level Accounts
● You will deliver best in class digital solutions and provide strategic lead across the account. You will provide strategic lead on key high end hospitality leisure accounts.
● Working closely with the client contact(s) (who will be at Marketing Director level,) you will ensure we remain at the forefront of digital innovation in the hospitality sector.
● You will be responsible for the relationship with senior client contacts, providing high level direction at meetings and growing a successful long term relationship.
● Your direction will inform the nature of the account’s future. This will then be realised by the project management and account management teams to be executed on a day to day basis.
● Deliver insight and actionable recommendations in response to a variety of key business projects to impact planning, increase sales and drive covers and customer retention.
● Manage, inspire and nurture the wider client team to ensure the top-level strategy is delivered to the highest standard, within budget and meeting the business objectives.
● You will be responsible for project budgets, overall timescales and working to deliver and demonstrate ROI on each project.
● Work with wider digital teams to implement commercially viable and customer centric activity across the client account.
● Use knowledge gained through analysis to inform forecasts, budgets and CRM direction (short/long-term.)
● Ownership and Responsibility for the P and L of the account(s) alongside working with growth projections year on year.
● You will work with each relevant account manager to delivery high quality work in all areas to the client, adhering to best practice.
● You will place revenue management for each key account at the heart of your approach, balanced with a focus on technical and design creativity on each project.
● Lead CRM and Reporting on programs on a weekly, monthly basis.
● Board level reporting on a quarterly basis.
Product and Service Development
● Process - Work with Client Services Director to oversee agency’s project management processes and systems to achieve improvement of:
○ Quality.
○ Efficiency.
○ Documentation.
○ Ensuring Account / Project Managers adhere to the agencies expected levels of conduct and quality of work in key areas.
● Products - Provide analysis and regular insights and suggested improvements to our product offering in the following areas:
○ Website design and construction
○ Applications
○ CRM systems and client outreach
○ Marketing including social, email marketing and other channels
● Industry best practice - Be the prime entry point and curator of online trends in the hospitality and high end leisure sector, both on and off line as part of our internal design steering group.
CRM – Strategic Lead
● The agency’s own CRM delivers an industry leading solution to over 100 + of our hospitality accounts
● The 2022 Roadmap includes the launch of several new features including API integrations with major Booking and Wifi providers which will enable us to unlock a single customer view for our clients
● You will lead the marketing and sales strategy of the platform to our existing and prospective clients and as part of this deliver a key CRM strategy for our key accounts
● With the support of our Technical Director, you will also help shape the evolution of the platform by understanding the competitive landscape and our client’s requirements
Senior Management
● Working with the senior management team you will contribute to the development of the agency as a whole.
● You will provide analysis for the Managing Director on all your key accounts and team performance.
● As part of the senior management team you will attend quarterly management meetings, delivering key information and ideas related to all areas of the agency.
Reports to: Managing Director
Salary Range: £45,000 - £55,000
