Anti-Money Laundering: Assess the client’s due diligence process, Identify the areas of concern in client’s compliance structure and recommend improvements relating to anti money laundering regulations 2021, preparing, reviewing and updating AML Policy and Risk assessment whenever is required, reviewing KYC procedures and conducting AML and sanctions searches on clients as appropriate and escalating any issues to the MLRO.

On-going monitoring and risk assessment: Assessing and identifying risks the business is exposed to, assist the clients in designing and implementing controls to mitigate those risks. Preparing periodic transactions monitoring reports and give recommendations for improvements. Conduct follow-up visits to ensure the client is fully compliant with the AML Regulations.
Rubust compliance framework.
Advice clients to enhance and maintain a robust compliance framework, in partnership with all stakeholders, to execute the firm’s strategy in accordance with its risk appetite, regulatory expectations and industry best practices”.
Training:  ability to provide training on Anti Money Laundering and Terrorist under MLR 2021/TFC 2000.

experience in a compliance advisory role within the FCA, an FCA regulated firm or a consultancy practice.
Knowledge and understanding of the FCA Handbook coupled with practical knowledge of the funds sector.
Knowledge and understanding of JMLSG guide, GDPR 2022, Anti Bribery Act 2010, and Fraud act 2006.
You need to be educated to a good level and possibly working towards or holding a relevant professional financial services qualification.
You'll also need first class communication skills, a passion for solving interesting problems, a love of managing relationships with clients and great teamwork are all important.
