Direct Sales Officer Wanted in London

Responsible for increasing and developing online/direct sales portfolio.
We are Hosts International, the leading accommodation provider for overseas students/interns in twenty UK towns and cities. The majority of our sales are generated via partnership agreements however we are looking to expand direct student sales via online sources and increasing the number of direct students booked into our homestay accommodation across the UK.
We are seeking a Direct Sales Officer to promote and convert our direct sales enquiries from international students, interns or visitors to the UK seeking accommodation to firm bookings and sales.
The main tasks are converting leads from daily high volume enquiries received, by phone/email (seldom face to face), also generating leads via careful use and development of social media, following up on prospects, applying sales techniques, closing sales and offering after sales support.
Typically, you will work from 8.30am until 6.00pm from Monday to Friday and be office based, working with office packages and emails and in-house systems. But to meet tight deadlines, overtime or flexible work hours may be necessary.
Your start basic salary would typically be around £20,000 a year depending on your experience or potential capability.
This would rise to give OTE of £25,000 to £35,000 a year with more experience and as you convert sales. There is no ceiling to what you can earn as the role offers a fixed commission per sale. In addition, a bonus scheme Kicks in when sales targets are met.

Because to the fast-paced nature of direct sales, sometimes the working day will be pressurised and requires speed and efficiency to ensure that sales are made and capitalise on the amount of direct leads that are generated.
The successful applicant should possess he following -

First rate organisational skills and attention to detail.
The ability to work well as an individual mainly and also at times, as part of a team.
Drive, motivation and enthusiasm and hunger to SELL and earn.
The ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Confidence and persuasiveness, for 'selling' your ideas.
Budget awareness and good business sense
