Front Office Manager for Luxury Boutique Hotel in Kensington and Chelsea

We are looking for candidates with a strong background within hospitality to join us as Front Office Manager. The ideal candidate would have proven experience as a Front Office Supervisor or Senior Receptionist and be ready for the next step.
Acting as a department head and reporting directly to the GM, this is a role with excellent opportunities for progression.
About the hotel
Newly opened in late 2014, this small luxury boutique hotel with 37 rooms and Suites is ideally located in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Just minutes away from Harrods, this property is starting to make a name for itself with its unusual rooms, Suites and public areas.
Key Task will involve the following:
• To be responsible for ensuring that there is a high standard of public relations with all guests, handling any complaints or compliments and reporting them to the Senior Management team.
• Assisting the General Manager to ensure effective delivery of sales and high standards of customer service.
• To be able to perform Duty Management shifts, ensuring that all departments are fully staffed in accordance with daily/weekly business levels
• Ensuring clear and straightforward communication is maintained through the Front of House and all other Operational departments.
• Hand-on approach to service and be able to lead the team from the front.
• To be able to pull off daily/weekly reports relating to Front of House business levels
• All policies and procedures are adhered to in line with Company standards and Financial Audit Results.
Your skills
Your customer service skills should be second to none and you should have excellent people-management skills. In addition to this we are looking for candidates who…

• Are passionate about customer service.
• Can demonstrate a previous track-record in hospitality
This is a full-time role of 40 hours per week, with 28 days’ holiday per year including bank holidays. While we will expect you to go the extra mile where needed, we will normally ask you to work standard office hours (9am to 6pm) spread over five days per week with two days off.
