The team behind BAO is seeking a Host for their brand new restaurant, which is bringing a new Asian dining experience to Chinatown, Soho.
XU is a stylish, upscale and refined with an exciting menu that reflects the quality of locally-sourced ingredients. The 75-cover restaurant is split over 2 floors and the restaurant interiors a reinterpretation of a cinematic set in 1930s Taipei, Shanghai.
We will offer the successful candidates:
 Up to £9.50 per hour, dependent on experience;

As Host, you will be responsible for:
 Welcoming and interacting with our guests in a professional, courteous and
friendly manner, building rapports to encourage their repeat custom;
 Ensuring a seamless customer journey, from initial greeting through to sincere
farewell, liaising with all internal departments during their stay to ensure an
unparalleled standard of service;
 Effectively managing reservations and walk-ins to maximize covers during service;
 Handling face to face, telephone and email queries in a polite, professional and
diplomatic manner.
The successful candidates will have:
 Previous experience as a Receptionist/Host in a high quality customer service
environment;
 Warm, charming and engaging persona;
 Highly organised approach to your work with excellent attention to detail;
 Excellent telephone manner and fluent English language ability;
 Impeccable personal presentation;
 Working knowledge of Quadranet reservation system (beneficial).
