Hi, we are a friendly easy going family with three fabulous kids. We are looking for a warm, friendly and very energetic girl to help us take care of them from Monday to Friday (7am/7.30am - 7pm/7.30pm) as well as doing housekeeping for us. The children are the priority though! This person must also be able to travel abroad with us. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible
Our eldest child is aged 4 and we also have 2 year old twins, so it is a busy house ! This person must have very good childcare experience and be both capable of and competent to manage three young children at a time by themselves. I (Mum) will be around a lot of the time so there will be a bit of divide and conquer, however we will expect this person to take the lead. We would rely on this person to make sure we have healthy meals for the kids, to think of fun games to play with them, and organise activities / excursions if the parents have not done so eg making a cake, play dates.
As mentioned this is a nanny housekeeper role but please understand that at all times the children come first. They are the absolute priority. The twins will be in nursery a few mornings a week, and our elder child will be in school all day every day so there will be time available to help clean the house.
What type of person are We are looking for?
- Well as i mentioned we are looking for someone who is good fun to be around, who is lively, full of energy and loves to play with kids. They are at the age now where they love to play chasing and hide and seek, as examples. Painting and baking are two other fun ( and messy ) activities. You must have loads of energy to keep up with them!
- You must also be very gentle and kind. We are firm with our kids and stick to routines etc but equally we are extremely loving, gentle and kind with them. We don't believe in ever shouting at them, nor would we allow anyone else to do so etc
- You must be an excellent time keeper. With three kids so young this is very important. We cannot have someone arriving late in the mornings.
- Clean and tidy. We will expect you to always clean up after yourself, the kids and do whatever is needed around the house.
- Must be able to cook healthy nutritious meals
- Show initiative and hit the ground running
- MUST be able to travel with us. During some of the school holidays we travel to Dublin and Spain. We could be gone for 3 weeks at a time during the longer school holidays eg Summer.
Obviously you don't know us but i think i can say with some confidence that anyone who has ever worked with us would do so again. We are still in touch with all of the gorgeous girls who have helped us to date. It is only for various reasons such as moving country that they are no longer able to help us. If you think you are interested and we feel that you are a good fit i would be more than happy to give you their numbers or introduce you to them so that you can ask them any questions if that helps. We are a very fair and easy going family, and i think we are a bit of fun to be around :)
