We are an agency that provides a large amount of properties across London to local government. We need a maintenance and general operative to work as a self employed contractor who invoices us each month for £1100. You will largely cover just South London.
- £1100 Per month regardless of how many hours worked. We are basically paying you a retainer so that you are always available to us, but the likelihood is that there are a lot of days where you will not be required to do anything, but will still be paid. For large maintenance, we will pay you additionally for this, after agreeing a price.
- When we do require you generally it is for:
- Occupancy checks
- Giving keys and collecting documents from new tenants.
- Risk assessments
- Collecting items, such as keys
- Cleaning
- troubleshooting
- General maintenance
- On call service 24/7 where necessary
You will need to be organised as you are handling keys and be in contact regularly with our main office.
Reality Check You will sometimes have to calm customers down on the phone and you will need to invoice each month for your salary. Some weeks there maybe a lot of work, others there may not be, We do not give you set hours, we just ask that you are available when we need you. We do not pay for your travel.
