JOB TITLE: HGV Class 1 (C +E) Driver– Removals
LOCATION: Wembley, NW10 0TG
CONTRACT TYPE: Full Time/ Permanent
HOURS OF WORK: Minimum 40 hours per week | Working 5 days out of 7
SALARY: £11.08 per hour
We are currently looking to recruit HGV Class 1 (Cat: C +E) drivers for our Central Warehouse, in Wembley.
Our Clients provides a ‘best in class’ national, European and International removal and storage service.
As a designated HGV driver you will be responsible for the vehicle assigned to you each day: ensuring safe loading and unloading of vehicles or storage containers.
THE ROLE - HGV Class 1 (C +E) Driver:
• Driving to UK docks; Felixstowe, Southampton, London Gateway, Tilbury
• Delivering Import containers and collecting Export containers
• Occasional travel to any UK residence to load direct from clients house and returning to NW10 ( Could involve overnight stays)
• Operate the side lifting machine in the yard at NW10 (Training provided – experience not required)
As well as local moves, we will be looking to you to be available for long distance moves away from home and the depot.
Delivering first class customer service is key to the operation. As the face of the business you will be a good communicator who takes pride in ensuring timetables and service expectations are met.
Applicants must hold HGV Class 1 (Cat: C +E) plus CPC card and be eligible to work in the UK.
