Our friendly ICEBAR LONDON Host and Reservations Team is currently recruiting for a full-time Host and Reservationist. This role operates primarily from the venue and head office, providing a highly efficient and effective service, ensuring standards are maintained and customer needs are anticipated. This position includes late nights and 5 day shift work on a 7 day Rota.
The main duties will include:
Host:
• Be the first point of contact for everyone approaching ICEBAR;
• Respond to all guests enquires including reservations and walk-ins; maximize the number of guests that visit restaurant and ICEBAR
• Check-in ICEBAR reservations and update our booking system for guests arrivals and walk-ins;
• Manage ICEBAR queue; control the flow of people into the venue;
Reservationist:
• Have thorough knowledge of all relevant procedures and good knowledge of both ICEBAR and ICEHOTEL history and mission;
• Be fully-aware of all themed nights, events and packages;
a. Answer the phones promptly and efficiently;
b. Check work e-mail account and respond to them;
c. Ensure all deposits are charged correctly;
d. Cancel reservations correctly;
e. Check and reply to voice mails left;
To be a successful applicant you will need to:
• Have a good command of the English Language, along with excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner
• Have at least 1 year relevant hosting experience.
• Look tidy, well-groomed and presentable.
• Highly organized and creative.
• Team player and customer focused.
• Outgoing, super-enthusiastic, confident, highly personable individual, passionate about developing themselves.
• Have a warm, friendly and professional smile to greet every guest arrives at the venue.
• All applicants must be able to work varying shifts including weekends, late nights past 1 am and bank holidays.
• All applicants must be over 18 and eligible to work in the UK and must be in possession of the relevant passport and visa.
Starting rate of £8.25p/h - Weekly pay
