We are looking for a bicycle courier and retail assistant on a temporary basis (July-September) with a view to the role becoming permanent. The role will include:
Monday to Friday, 40-45 hours per week, £8.50/hour
You will be handling fragile cake deliveries in the Square Mile working out of our store in the Gherkin. Deliveries will be carried out with a front loading cargo bike. In between deliveries, you will be part of the front of house team with key responsibilities including customer service, coffee service, shop stock upkeep and general store responsibilities.
The ideal candidate:
- Comfortable cycling in London
-experience as a bicycle courier, preferably with a cargo bike
-Reliable
-Retail experience
-Great customer service
-Good time management
-Ability to route-plan and liaise with logistics co-ordinate
-Road safety training or certification desirable
-Food handling desirable
-Your own cycling safety equipment (helmet, gloves etc)
