Markets Operations Manager Wanted

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and manage all operational aspects of the build, onsite management and de-rig of our two regular food markets in King’s Cross, London.
The role would suit someone with operational event management experience and leadership skills as you will be managing a small team of manual workers to install, manage and break-down each market on a weekly and monthly basis.
Ideally we are looking for someone with electrical competence as well as a minimum of NEBOSH Health and Safety qualification as the markets require some simple electrical install/cabling. This may not be an absolute requirement for the right candidate however, as the appropriate training could be provided.
You will need to like working outdoors in all Weathers and because of build requirements, be prepared for regular, very early mornings shifts.
It almost goes without saying that we need a talented, enthusiastic team player with a keen eye for detail, good communication skills, understanding of the basics of H and S, strong organisational, leadership and inter-personal skills with the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders.
We are a small business so you would be part of a team of only 8 or 9 people and happy to be outside the suffocating grasp of a big corporate culture, but with little of the comforting infrastructure that these sorts of businesses sometimes provide.
This is an important role, representing Real Food Festivals and the effective and organised operational running of our markets is crucial in delivering an excellent market experience for the customer, trader and landowners.
