Who we are:
We are Yum Bun, an award winning food business operating since 2010, with 6 permanent ‘Street Food’ shops and outlets across East and South London.
Who we are looking for:

A calm headed, highly organised and positive person.
Ideally local to E10, so as able to meet the early start times.
Must be punctual
Must hold clean UK driving license and be 26 + years old.
This is not a standard delivery job, as it requires careful packing for various sites.
You must have attention to detail - If you don’t enjoy keeping things organised and tidy this job won’t be for you.
Some experience in hospitality is desirable.
Those applying without a cover note explaining why they are suitable will not be considered.

Our central kitchen is based in E10, with all sites within a maximum 40 minute drive from the Kitchen.
You will deliver to a maximum of three sites per day.
We supply the vehicle.
We currently run this schedule that totals 36 hours per week and it leaves breathing space for traffic problems and careful packing and unpacking. Minimum hours will be 35 per week.
Tuesday 5:30 am - 12:30pm
Wednesday 7am - 11am
Thursday 5:30am - 11am
Friday 5:30am - 2:30am
Saturday 7am - 7pm
Sunday - OFF
Monday - OFF
How much:
£9 Per hour
The job:

Printing and carefully referring to daily order forms submitted by sites on our internal stock ordering system.
Organising and packing deliveries for various sites (Max 3 sites per day)
Loading the van efficiently
Collect Fruit and Vegetable orders from New Spitalfields Market (E10)
Keeping to delivery schedules required for smooth service at sites.
Keeping all food at safe temperatures
Understanding food safety procedures (we will train you)
Delivering and unloading in sites according to site specific instructions.
Carry out any additional tasks as per delivery notes. For example collecting equipment from site and delivering to another.
You will sometimes be sent out on other errands.
Maintaining the cleanliness and running of van - oil, tire pressure etc.
Keep our central kitchen deliveries area extremely tidy and organised at all times - it is part warehouse, part Kitchen.
Cleaning Fridges and delivery boxes once a week.
You will receive training on how all the different sites and central kitchen work together as a whole - and how your role is crucial to the smooth running of the whole business.
You will communicate regularly with site managers and the central kitchen.
Work closely with our team to deal with all the day to day needs of the business - there are a lot of moving parts in a food business and on almost a daily basis there are new challenges to deal with immediately - road closures, equipment failure, spoilt food that needs quickly replacing, etc etc.

Salary: £9.00 /hour
