Prairie Fire Catering Ltd is currently looking for part and full-time applicants to join us as Prep Cooks for our Covent Garden location. You will also have the opportunity to occasionally work public and private catering events and fill shifts at our other locations.
We are looking to hire energetic and hardworking prep cooks and service members to join our growing team. You’ll have the opportunity to be a part our story as we take London by storm offering authentic, delicious Kansas City BBQ and amazing roadside style, American burgers to Londoners. You’ll be working in an exciting, fast-moving environment with responsibilities that include prep work, cooking on multiple sections, cleaning and maintaining high standards of food safety.

Responsibilities…
You will be involved in cooking and preparing meals at a successful pub near Covent Garden
Most of the time you will be working independently and managing the kitchen on your own
You will need to thrive in both hectic, very busy periods as well as times where there are few orders for long periods of time
You will need to work quickly while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety
To undertake general cleaning duties as and when required
The ideal candidate…
Willing to work late hours multiple days a week
Passionate about the food industry
All candidates must have excellent communication and customer service skills
Previous experience as a prep cook is required
You are expected to have a good command of written and spoken English language
