Job Description of Training and Recruitment Co-coordinator Right at Home Harrow
To ensure that the recruitment of suitable Care Givers and Induction training keeps up with demand, that Care Givers files are fully Compliant and are completed in line with our policies and procedures and to support the continuing professional development of our current Care Givers. There will also be some ongoing Human Resources work associated with this role.
Responsibilities of the Training and Recruitment Co-coordinator
• Liaising with the Registered Manager, Care Coordinator, Field Care Manager and the rest of the office team with regards to Care Giver training and recruitment requirements
• To arrange and deliver induction training and assess the competency of Care Givers completing the Care Certificate to meet the Company’s recruitment needs.
• To arrange, book, deliver and record any additional training which has been identified through observation or supervision as being required
• To ensure that the recruitment of suitable candidates keeps pace with demand, to schedule and conduct phone screenings and face to interviews and to take up references.
• Meticulous checking of all ID documents against application paperwork and applying for Enhanced DBS documents for all applicants and tracking the progress of each application where required
• Placing job advertisements, online and on all other suitable platforms including out in the local community
• Encouraging and supporting further professional development with all Care Givers such as QCF Level 2 and 3.
• To take responsibility for the Care Givers files and to ensure that they are fully compliant.
• To update the information that goes to the payroll company and to deal with some Human Resources issues
Qualifications of the Training and Recruitment Co-coordinator
• experience of working in the Care Sector
• Train the Trainer qualifications in Moving and Handling and Administering Medication or a willingness to obtain these qualifications
• experience of delivering first-class customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
