We are an Australian/German family with an 11 year old son and are looking for a warm, patient, organised and mature After school Help/ nanny or au-pair who can start at short notice (ideally this week).Ideally you are a well-organised and tidy university student or a graduate with a good sense of humour, a warm and cheerful personality and a lot of common sense who genuinely enjoys working with boys of this age group (maybe you have a younger brother at this age).You should live locally (NW3, NW5, NW1 or N6) and be able to commit for at least 6 months. You will mainly supervise our son for up to 3.5 hours on 4 days each week (Mondays- Thursdays)after school whilst he is doing his homework. You should have a strong command of the English language, in particular sound spelling and grammar and ideally be able to support with homework Year 6 when necessary.Our son is doing his homework on his own but you may be required to revise vocabulary or read with him.You will be responsible for light housework, ie washing our son's laundry (school uniforms, football outfits etc) and - most important! cooking (and eating) dinner with him. We love good food, so you should enjoy cooking tasty meals (absolutely no vegetarians , please).Normal working hours are 4-7.15pm on 4 days each week. If you can also occassionally babysit at the weekend, even better!
